Citizens Health is recruiting a full-time Infection Prevention Coordinator.

Location: 100 E College Ave, Colby, Kansas

 

Position Information: Coordinates the development and implementation of all employee health initiatives and programs.

 

Days: Monday through Friday

 

Hours:  8am to 5 pm

 

Pay Range:  Dependent upon experience.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of all employee health initiatives and programs.
  • Will develop, alongside Human Resources, policies and procedures for pre-employment and on-boarding processes for employees.
  • Will be responsible for all pre-employment testing and vaccination processes, annual N95/TB/ Influenza testing and/or vaccinations, and the management of potential blood exposures, employee illnesses and disease outbreaks.
  • Support administration with employee health databases, maintain complete and accurate employee health records.
  • Complete other duties as assigned per organizational need

 

What you bring to the table:

  • RN/LPN degree with appropriate licensure.
  • Completion of a basic training program for infection control, which can be obtained during first year of employment.
  • Three to five years nursing experience or applicable health care experience.
