Citizens Health is looking for RN/LPN/LPN IV/MA candidates to work in the Clinic at FCHC.  The work will be full-time Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, with occasional Saturdays 8am to noon.

Location: 100 E College Drive, Colby, Ks


Position Information:  Assist medical providers by providing patient care; to include patient history, obtain vital signs, enter orders in computer as instructed by physician, maintain patient flow, work with ancillary services for continuity of care, assisting with procedures, order supplies, check out dates, and performing various tests. Processing paper orders to appropriate departments and preparation prior to clinic days. Perform appropriate telephone triage using established practice guidelines.


Days: Monday-Friday, 5 days a week with occasional Saturdays


Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, with occasional Saturdays 8am to noon.


Pay Range:  Starting wage and dependent upon experience; RN- $23.03, LPN II - $20.04, LPN - $18.18, MA - $15.34


What you’ll do:

  • Clinic RN/LPN/LPN IV/MA will assist medical providers by providing patient care under the supervision of a physician.
  • Perform appropriate telephone triage using established practice guidelines.
  • Review patient medication history and obtain vital signs.


What you bring to the table:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • At least one year of experience in a medical environment.
  • Experience with EMR (electronic medical records) preferred.

Typical Working Conditions:

Works in well-lighted and well-ventilated Clinic at Family Center for Health Care.  Works in a safe environment, but an environment where direct contact with blood or other body fluids to which Body Substance Isolation applies.
