Citizens Health is looking for a Medical Assistant to work in the Citizens Medical Center specialty clinic. The work will be full-time Monday through Friday, 8AM -5PM daily.

Citizens Medical Center - a 25 bed critical access hospital,
Family Center for Health Care - an outpatient rural health clinic,
Prairie Senior - a skilled nursing facility,
Citizens Clubhouse - an onsite childcare center that cares for children 6 weeks to school age for our workforce,
Citizens Medical Equipment - our durable medical equipment business.

Location: 100 E College Drive, Colby, Ks
Position Information: Assist medical providers by providing patient care; to include patient assessment, assisting with procedures, and performing various tests. Perform appropriate telephone triage using established practice guidelines. Review patient medication history and prepare prescription requests for medical provider. Provides health education to patients and families.
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8-5 daily

Typical Working Conditions:
Works in well-lighted and well-ventilated clinic. Works in a safe environment, but an environment where direct contact with blood or other body fluids to which Body Substance Isolation applies. Work is in an environment where cytotoxic drugs are mixed and administered.
